New from the Chinese manufacturer Hytera is a smart TETRA radio board designed for industrial applications.

The PBT580H board is a highly-integrated, fully-featured TETRA radio module with voice and data capabilities and formal interoperability certification. With 3W RF output for good radio coverage and a flexible connector interface, it is suitable for integration into a wide range of voice and data devices. Hytera reports that a local partner has already applied the PBT580H successfully for sensing and telecontrol in electrical power line transmission.
