Sepura and its German partner Selectric GmbH will supply TETRA radios and accessories in contracts with the fire brigades, located in the cities of Ingolstadt and Augsburg in Bavaria. Both contracts will equip the fire services in the Bavarian provinces with over 10,000 Sepura TETRA radios. Included in the agreements are a combination of Sepura’s STP9000 hand-helds, STP8X Intrinsically-Safe ATEX/IECEx hand-portables and SRG3900 mobile radios plus accessories. “Sepura’s communication solution was successful as it fulfils the fire services’ specific communications needs,” says Hendrik Pieper, general manager of Selectric. “Both fire services were impressed with Sepura radios’ gateway and repeater functionalities, which by extending the TETRA network in areas of limited or non-existent coverage, greatly increase the possibility of saving lives." Pieper says many of the features of the radios are well-suited to the emergency services' needs. He adds: “In particular, the SRG3900 radio’s dual console, which enables installations at both the front and back of a fire engine, ensures continuous communications between the fire fighters operating at the rear of the fire truck, the control room and the other team members involved in a rescue operation.” (中国集群通信网 | 责任编辑:陈晓亮) |
