Teracom, the terrestrial broadcast transmission service company, has signed a seven-year agreement with the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) to manage operations, maintenance and customer support for the national communications network, Rakel. The agreement is for seven years, including an option to extend it by another three, and has the resources to add additional services. MSB, which owns the Swedish national communications system, Rakel, helps ensure the country is better equipped to deal with emergencies and other crisis situations. It simplifies daily communications for organisations involved in law and order, security and health. Rakel is a national, collaborative communications and management that has been expanded throughout Sweden to strengthen crisis management capabilities and facilitate communication with organisations working on policy, security or health. Today, it has more than 460 public and private users including the police, probation service and customs service. The Rakel system has 1,700 base stations located all over Sweden, and is built to withstand harsh weather conditions. (中国集群通信网 | 责任编辑:陈晓亮) |
