The TCCA is dedicated to the creation of common broadband standards for the users of critical communications worldwide. Through its working group, the Critical Communications Broadband Group (CCBG), created in April 2012, TCCA will focus its work on driving the development and adoption of common global mobile broadband standards and solutions for users who operate in a mission critical or business critical environment. Tony Gray (pictured), chair of the CCBG, commented: "We are delighted to have formally cemented the excellent relationship that we have already formed with NPSTC and many of its members and contributors. "The TCCA's Critical Communications Broadband Group (CCBG) has been established in order to drive the development and adoption of common global mobile broadband standards and solutions for users who operate in a mission or business critical environment. We are also working with the TCCA’s Spectrum Group and PSC-Europe to lobby for suitable, and as far as possible harmonised, spectrum in which to deploy critical broadband services and applications globally. "Our relationships and close collaboration with other influential organizations around the world, including important early movers in this field such as NPSTC and NTIA in the USA, will enable CCGB to leverage the wealth of knowledge that already exists within the TCCA towards making mission critical broadband a reality for the many interested users in the worldwide market." NPSTC is a federation of public safety organizations whose mission is to improve public safety communications and interoperability through collaborative leadership. NPSTC is a resource and advocate for public safety organizations in the United States on matters relating to public safety telecommunications. It also monitors and studies public policy and submits comments to governmental organizations on behalf of public safety. To learn more, visit npstc.org ">www.npstc.org and http://www.tandcca.com
