HELSINKI (AFX) - Nokia Corp said it won an order from China''s Guangzhou Metro Corp for a digital TETRA professional mobile radio network for its new metro line in the urban rail system in the Guangdong province. The order value was not disclosed. Nokia (Helsinki: news) expects the network to be operational in the second half of 2005. TETRA networks offer encrypted, digital mobile communication for professional organisations such as in the public safety and security sectors, oil and gas companies, utilities, and transportation companies.
