Nokia is delivering a complete TETRA network using IP technology to Bulgarian National Service Border Police. The network is the first of its kind in the country and implementation has already started with the network expected to be operational during first half of 2003. This new TETRA network will cover the border area between Bulgaria and Turkey providing advanced applications such as Automatic Vehicle Location solution for the border authorities in order to further enhance the force's security communications.
