Eastcom, China’s state-owned mobile communications enterprise, has announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with TETRA terminal manufacturer Sepura. The agreement, to work collaboratively in promoting the benefits of TETRA in China, will result in more seamless and reliable communications for many market sectors. “We look forward to a close partnership with Sepura”, commented Wang Zhongxiong, president of Eastcom. “We are confident that as two industry leaders working together like this, we will bring greater value to our common customers and generally enhance the quality of applications for the wider TETRA market.” ‘Influential player’Gordon Watling, chief executive of Sepura, said: “Eastcom is one of China’s leading TETRA systems and equipment design, development and manufacturing enterprises.
