Security at the recent Boao Forum for Asia 2012 (BFA 2012), which took place in Qionghai, China, was boosted by the deployment of a TETRA system – the first of its kind in the region.

The influential BFA Forum attracted 1500 participants from various countries and regions, including state leaders and ministry-level officials, economists, representatives of multiple international organizations and industries, entrepreneurs and international journalists.

Qionghoi Police Force was able to secure the event successfully using a 350?MHz TETRA system from Cassidian. “Our success in providing the TETRA system and securing the Boao Forum for Asia 2012 is a good start, and indicates further trustful cooperation with Hainan Police”, said Galvin Wong, of Cassidian. “We are working on providing our high-quality TETRA equipment and services for professional users.”
