The Bavarian Red Cross, Bayerisches Rotes Kreuz (BRK), has selected Sepura TETRA radios for all rescue services organisations in the Bavarian federal state.

Selectric GmbH, Sepura’s only German partner, secured the contract. The agreement includes the provision of over 15,000 Sepura TETRA radio terminals and vehicle installations of Sepura SRG3900 mobile radios. 

“Rescue services operators need reliable communications in order to carry out their often dangerous operations where lives can be at stake,” says Johann Peter Hausl, head of emergency medical technicians at BRK. “Sepura’s products offer more than our users’ specific communications needs. In particular, the hand-portables' outstanding audio quality enables clear communication at all times as it can filter out any background noise. The fast call set up time and the ease with which talk groups can be created and modified enables smooth and efficient operations".
