Motorola signed a contract with Airwave O2 to supply Motorola MTC100 PDAs that operate on TETRA networks. The agreement is the world's first commercial contract for TETRA PDAs, according to Motorola. The supplier will start the shipment at the end of 2006. Running applications developed by O2 Airwave, the secure and rugged PDAs will help deliver critical intelligence to front-line workers in the police and other emergency services.
