ZTE is building the first CDMA-based digital trunking network in Europe for Nordisk Mobiltelefon AB. Phase one of the 3G wireless network, which eventually will cover all of Norway, is scheduled to be completed in the next week or two, carrying voice, high-speed data, professional trunking, and variety of value-added services, including video on demand. ZTE already has installed its CDMA trunking, which it calls its global open-trunking architecture (GoTa), in 15 countries, including China, India, Indonesia and Brazil. Separately, ZTE said OTE, Greece''s largest fixed-line operator, has ordered an expansion of the ADSL network in Athens that ZTE built for OTE last year. That network, in turn, is an expansion of the network ZTE initially built for the Olympic Games. When the upgrade is finished in late June, total capacity of the OTE network will be 10,000 subscribers. (中国集群通信网 | 责任编辑:陈晓亮) |
