Coming up shortly in Belgium are the fifth Astrid User Days, organized by Astrid, the Belgian TETRA network operator. With some 50 exhibitors expected, this will be a major event in Europe’s TETRA calendar. Taking place in Mons, Belgium, on October 18–19, it will be formally opened by the Belgian prime minister, Elio Di Rupo, and Joëlle Milquet, deputy prime minister and Minister of the Interior. With 3000 square metres of exhibition space, the User Days will provide information and demonstrations from TETRA suppliers across Europe, alongside a programme of presentations and workshops. “Since the first edition in 2003, the User Days have become a not-to-be-missed event for all public safety services, telecom experts and TETRA advocates”, said the event’s organizer, Frederik Langhendries, of Astrid. “Some 1500 attendees will share experience and ideas about how to communicate effectively in critical situations. This year’s event will focus on data applications.” And he added: “We hope to welcome many enthusiastic readers of TETRA Today!” For more information, visit astriddays.be">www.astriddays.be (中国集群通信网 | 责任编辑:陈晓亮) |
