Sepura has today announced its next generation LTE terminal and infrastructure platforms, including multi-protocol capability, keeping to ETSI PMR and 3GPP standards. The company sees the move as important in its mission critical voice and data applications utilising both narrowband and broadband spectrum. “Sepura has always been committed to open standards and interoperability across multiple PMR platforms, whilst also recognising the need to provide broadband services,” says Steve Barber, Sepura’s head of product strategy. “Sepura’s investment over the last three years in these new platforms ensures that we continue to lead the market in the delivery of state of the art mission critical solutions long into the future.” Jonathan Hamill, Sepura’s vice president of government and public safety says: “Sepura has already demonstrated voice and data interoperability between TETRA and LTE, this key milestone reinforces our commitment to delivering emerging technology solutions to our customers, future proofing any long term investment decisions they may be making now.” (中国集群通信网 | 责任编辑:陈晓亮) |
