        随着我国社会经济的发展，人民生活水平的不断提高，广大人民群众对安全的需求日益增长，对保安服务提出了更高、更新的要求。
        目前，国内外保安市场需求旺盛，保安服务业的规模迅速发展壮大。据不完全统计，2010年，我国保安服务企业有3000多家，专业保安从业人员约400万人；生产保安产品的企业达到2.5万家，从业人员超过120万人，行业总产值达到2300多亿元。“十一五”期间，保安行业年产值增长速度超过全国GDP增速的1倍以上。特别是2010年开始实施《保安服务管理条例》以来，保安业正进入一个更加规范、快速的发展新时期。预计未来五年，该产业每年将保持近20%的发展速度，到2015年行业产值规模将在目前基础上翻一番。

Along with the rapid economic development of China and the improvement of livelihood of Chinese people, the demand for security has increased .High quality of security service has become the significant factor for social harmony and stability.

The Chinese security service industry is expected to keep fast growth in a long time. By 2010, the number of security employees in China has reached eight millions. The number of enterprises producing security products is about 25 thousands and the relevant employees are more than 1.2 millions. During the past 5 years, the growth rate of Chinese security industry is almost twice of the national GDP growth rate. Especially since the “Regulations on the Administration of the Security Service” launched on January 1, 2010, the Chinese security industry has entered a new fast development period. The industry is expected to keep nearly 20% annual growth rate in the next five years.

        经公安部和科技部批准，中国保安协会将于2011年10月在北京全国农业展览馆举办中国国际保安装备技术产品博览会。本次博览会具有以下特点：
        一、产品与用户的结合。绝大部分安防、技防产品的最终选择、使用离不开遍布城乡的保安企业、保安从业人员。中国保安协会是全国保安服务业唯一一家行业协会，作为博览会的主办方，协会届时将邀请全国保安从业单位的负责人和行业主管部门的领导参观此次博览会，为供、需双方见面搭建便捷的交流平台。
        二、技防与人防的结合。在此次博览会中，从事技防产品、安防产品生产的企业，与从事人防的保安企业可以面对面接触，互通有无，共话发展。
        三、技术与服务的结合。保安行业是一个服务性行业，要做好服务需要一定的技术作为手段。在科技飞速发展的今天，谁拥有先进的技术，谁就拥有未来。此次博览会为安全技术应用产品提供一个展示自己的舞台。
