Fire services in the East Westphalia-Lippe administrative district of Germany are to receive more than 2800 TETRA radios and accessories from Sepura, following the signing of a €2.7 million framework agreement between distributor Selectric Digital Radio-Systems and a local purchasing co-operative. The East Westphalia-Lippe district makes up one-fifth of the federal state of North-Rhine Westphalia and is home to more than two million people. With the new radios, the fire service, disaster relief and emergency services in the region will benefit from reliable and secure communications throughout the districts of Gütersloh, Herford, Höxter, Lippe and Paderborn.
