Among visitors to the Tetra World Congress was Luis Jorge Romero, who was elected director-general of ETSI last year. “The Tetra project is one of the most important projects within ETSI”, he said. “It’s one of our, let’s say, first sons, and it has been growing with us since almost the very beginning of ETSI, and it keeps on growing. So I think it’s very important for us. We take very good care of it and we are very happy that it’s with us.” Mr Romero is keen to support moves to embrace broadband within the Tetra project. “It gives a good idea of the good health of the project itself because it’s looking at what’s next – it’s taking care and understanding that there are new needs coming from the users, new cultures, new ways of doing things. Those opinions are being embraced into the project.” (中国集群通信网 | 责任编辑:陈晓亮) |
